Chickens!!

Well, we've gotten our brooder as safe as possible (see earlier post here), and now we have 3 inhabitants! We will get three more when the other breeds arrive at the farm-store next weekend. For now we have Peppermint Patty (Rhode Island Red), Charli Brown (Golden Laced Wyandotte), and Lucy (Barred Rock).  Next week we hope to add Sally, Violet, and Marcie. :)

Peppermint Patty is definitely "Sir". She has figured out the feeder and seems to be directing the other two.
