I'm In Love!!

When it comes to being creative, I'm generally a follower and not a leader; as in you-do-it-first-and-give-me-a-full-tutorial kind of DIYer. But in this case, I actually had an idea that worked out just as good, if not better, than it looked in my mind! I am so grateful and amazed when that happens!

In this case, I decided to re-purpose a cable knit sweater into a rustic, cableknit, puffy star garland. The cut of the sweater was super outdated (sorry Liz Clairborne!), but the knitting and texture were so beautiful that I couldn't pass it up at the thrift store. And now it looks like these!

I just love the neutrality of the white knit which can be used for Christmas/Winter decor, or for all year through. (Would look so sweet on a nursery wall.)

I only have two of these garlands that are 6 feet long and feature 10 of these two-sided stars. (I also have a few stray stars that may end up becoming a mobile or a smaller garland. I'm still playing that out in my mind...).  They will be featured at the market on Saturday, December 12. Doors open at 10am so come early to get the best selection!

Merry Christmas!
